The British Council will use the information that you provide for the purposes of processing your FameLab application, we may share all application data with Cheltenham Science festival and with our partners in the partner country the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology and Al ALfi Foundation in order to assist with management of the application process and your participation in our events. Your information will not be used/shared beyond the partners listed above for any other purpose without your specific consent.
Rights
The British Council complies with data protection law in the UK and laws in other countries that meet internationally accepted standards. You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold on you, and the right to ask us to correct any inaccuracies in that information. If you have concerns about how we have used your personal information, you also have the right to complain to a privacy regulator. We will keep your participation information for a period of (1 year) from the submission of your application to FameLab competition. With your consent, we will also keep your contact details, if you are among the finalists of the FameLab competition for the duration of the FameLab programme so that we can include you in future events and projects.
